John R. (Jack) Bomhoff is a Partner in Elias Books litigation department. His practice encompasses a broad range of energy-related matters, including oil and gas lease cancellation defense, contract and title disputes, revenue and interest disputes under Oklahoma's Production Revenue Standards Act, and joint interest billing collections. He has advised and represented energy companies in tax protests, particularly with respect to gross production tax assessments and Oklahoma's five-year manufacturer's exemption. He also has represented companies in appeals from district court, the Oklahoma Tax Commission, and Oklahoma Corporation Commission, both as the appellant and the appellee.

Since joining the firm in 2015, Jack has regularly formulated effective case strategies, theories, and defenses, and has experience in each stage of litigation.

Jack earned his Bachelor of Arts in Letters from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2015. While in law school, he participated in the University of Oxford study abroad program.
